Atlus and Sega have announced that their highly anticipated new role-playing game (RPG) "metaphor: ReFantazio" will be adapted into a manga! This supervised work by renowned manga artist Tsuchiya Yousuke will begin serialization in "V Jump" magazine later this year.

"metaphor: ReFantazio" is a fantasy RPG that follows the story of a young man who becomes embroiled in the election to succeed the king after he is assassinated. The player can choose how they navigate through this fantastical world, using various occupations and teams to defeat powerful foes. Let's embark on a "realistic journey that can only be imagined"!

This game is developed by the same team behind "Persona 3," "Persona 4," and "Persona 5," offering fans a fresh new experience in the realm of fantasy RPGs.

To break the curse placed on his childhood friend prince, players take on the role of "Traveler," accompanied by fairy companion "Gallika," as they wander through different parts of the world. Players and their companions will find themselves at the center of major events happening within the kingdom, facing challenges ahead.

The protagonist awakens unique abilities called "domains" when triggered by certain circumstances. These domains include warrior, sorcerer, and other skills. Discovering various domains allows players to create their strongest team and face off against countless foes.

"metaphor: Re Fantazio" will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam platforms starting from October 11th, 2024.
